Preparing for a life in Christ
LIVING YOUR FAITH
Living Your Faith
Living Your Faith (LYF) is a one-week “theology camp” for teens who want to explore what it means to be faithful followers of, and possibly leaders for Christ. Students participate in daily discovery, worship and service together. LYF needed a strategic approach to starting this new endeavor, as well as the ability to put the pieces together in the best ways to reach students, parents, mentors, and pastors.
RESULTS
Visual Identity
From the onset, the client direction was to create a wordmark without iconography...one that was quickly recognizable, and tied into the host college's color scheme. The primary version was a stacked arrangement, emphasizing "YOUR", as this is a camp to explore individual calling. We also developed a secondary, horizontal mark with no spacing between words, and explored different color combinations for different program components (Discovery, Service, Learning). Finally, we incorporated the use of the acronym LYF (life) in communications, including the website URL.

Website
As the primary source of information for students, parents and pastors, the most important tool for Living Your Faith was its website. In developing the architecture for the site, we definitely wanted specific information segmented for each of those groups. We also created a calendar that would highlight speakers and events leading up to the June camp.

Program Materials
Part of the program introduction and outreach included luncheons, campus visits, and information sessions for both students and youth pastors. We developed Postcards for those events, and as direct communication to students. In addition, we were asked to create the program guide for the week long program for all participants.
“Working with Greg on branding, design, and strategy was an essential part of the success of our program. Beyond his proficiency in executing large and small projects, Greg provided excellent support and insight. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for branding work.”
